Milissa Santos: A Visionary Leader Driving Business and Social Impact
Milissa Santos, a distinguished professional with over 25 years of experience in the staffing and recruiting industry, exemplifies entrepreneurial excellence. Her journey began with the founding of her first staffing firm, which flourished under her guidance, generating over $12 million in revenue within a decade. Building on her success, Milissa launched Eagle Staffing Company in 2018, quickly positioning it as a premier leader in staffing solutions.
Milissa’s accomplishments and her company’s milestones have garnered significant accolades. In October 2023, Eagle Staffing Company received special recognition from the Philadelphia City Council for its outstanding community service. Not long before this honor, the firm was named as a Comcast RISE recipient—standing out as one of only 100 organizations selected from 92,000 applicants—citing its dedication to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in Philadelphia. Continuing its streak of excellence, Eagle Staffing Company was recognized as “Best Staffing Service” by Metro Philly in 2024 and was most recently awarded the Gold Category title of “Philly Favorites” for Best Staffing Agency by The Philadelphia Inquirer in 2025.

She made a significant impact in grassroots efforts by being instrumental in the opening of a Community Fridge in Northeast Philadelphia. This project, a first of its kind in that area of the city, aims to combat food insecurity by providing residents with easy access to fresh, free food. Additionally, she serves on the Board of Directors for NAWBO Philadelphia (National Association of Women Business Owners), where she also holds the position of President Elect. As a member of the Inclusive Growth Coalition, she collaborates on policies that support small businesses, taxation reform, and job creation. Her influence extends to Washington D.C., where she champions legislative priorities crucial to the success of women entrepreneurs nationwide.
Beyond Milissa’s formal education, she is a lifelong learner, exemplified by her graduation from esteemed programs such as Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses, Tuck Executive Education at Dartmouth, SBA T.H.R.I.V.E program, and Santander SW-50, among others.
